Progetto “English in Action”

Si è concluso il 23 giugno 2026 il progetto di inglese tenuto dalla docente dell’Università di Udine e madrelingua Mityana Vaccaro.

Il percorso di 30 ore è stato creativo e in ogni incontro l’attività iniziale di “Brain gym” (“ginnastica del cervello”) è stata stimolante per introdurre gli alunni nel “mondo dell’inglese” e allenare mente e corpo.

Le tematiche affrontate sono state:

• la consapevolezza di sé (“Be yourself”) attraverso la lettura e la drammatizzazione del racconto “Elmer the patchwork elephant”;
• la felicità (happiness) attraverso il racconto “Relé and the happiness”, tradotto anche in italiano, friulano, tedesco e sloveno;
• l’amicizia (friendship) attraverso il racconto “A story to be a friend”.

Gli alunni hanno partecipato positivamente e apprezzato molto l’attività di “Brain gym”, i racconti e le canzoni in lingua inglese memorizzando le frasi ed interagendo con motivazione con l’insegnante e tra di loro.

A settembre si terrà un altro percorso di 30 ore di inglese dal 1 al 11 settembre 2026 presso la Scuola Primaria “San Domenico”, con un’altra insegnante esperta madrelingua inglese.

“English in Action” Project for Year 3 of “Rodari” and “Divisione Julia” Primary Schools from 10^th to 23^rd June 2026, held at the School “Tiepolo”.

It has concluded on 23^rd June 2026 the English project by the lecturer of the University of Udine and mother tongue Mityana Vaccaro.

The Project of 30 hours has been creative and the “warm up” activity of “Brain gym” has been attractive because with this activity the pupils are introduced in the “World of English” and they can train mind and body.

The pupils have been approached to these themes:

• self-awareness (“Be yourself”) by reading and dramatizing the tale “Elmer the patchwork elephant”;
• happiness, through the story “Relé and the happiness” translated in Italian, Friulano, German and Slovene;
• “friendship” through “A story to be a friend”.

Pupils have positively participated and they have appreciated the “Brain gym” activity, the tales and songs in the English language. They have memorized phrases and interacted with motivation with the teacher and each other.

From 1^st to 11^th September 2026 there will be another English Project of 30 hours for children of the Primary School.

This Project will be held at “San Domenico” Primary school by another English mother tongue teacher.
